I wrote an article about the Southwest Companion Pass a few months ago. Even after Southwest’s holiday debacle, the Companion Pass is one of the most helpful travel perks. It has allowed us to travel to many beautiful destinations in the Caribbean, such as Aruba, the Cayman Islands, Turks and Caicos, the Bahamas, and also great destinations within the US.
This benefit allows you to add a companion to travel with you just by paying taxes and fees, and you can also use it with award flights.
Chase has a great offer to earn the companion pass by getting approved for their Southwest credit card and meeting spending requirements. This version of the Companion Pass is valid until 2/28/2024.
